thirteen finds is a community-first platform that curates the top 13 of things worth finding — starting in Scotland. people suggest their favourites, the community votes, and we finish the list. by using the site you agree to these terms. if you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.

the lists reflect the opinions of our community and our own editorial judgement. they are for general interest and enjoyment — they are not professional, financial, health or safety advice, and we don't guarantee that any venue or product will meet your expectations. always use your own judgement.

• accounts are for individuals. one person, one account, one vote per list — no bots, duplicate accounts or vote manipulation.
• keep your login details safe. you're responsible for activity that happens under your account.
• you must be 18 or over to create an account, given our lists often feature licensed premises.

you keep ownership of the suggestions, comments and other content you submit. by submitting it, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce and promote that content as part of thirteen finds (including on our social channels). you confirm that what you submit is your own, is honest, and doesn't break the law or anyone else's rights.

our community guidelines are part of these terms. we may remove content, or suspend or close accounts, that break these terms or those guidelines — including spam, abuse, impersonation, or attempts to rig the vote. we curate in good faith.

we provide thirteen finds “as is”. to the fullest extent permitted by law, we're not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or reliance on its lists. nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

we may update these terms as thirteen finds grows. if we make significant changes we'll flag it on the site. continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

these terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
